Taking the next steps

After you have been born again, you will want to:

• Forsake sin. (Romans 6:1-2)

As a Christian you can no longer indulge in sin; besides, you will no longer want to.

• Live a Changed life. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

You will want to live a different life, one of service to the One Who saved you.

• Read the Bible, a good King James version. (only) (Matthew 7:7-8 with Timothy 3:16-17) 

To live the Christian life, you need to spend as much time reading the Bible and talking to the Lord in prayer.

• Find a King James Only Church. (Hebrews 10:25)

To keep and maintain a faithful walk with the Lord, you need to fellowship with other Christians. Seek to join yourself to a church that believes and practices the Bible.

• Be Baptized. (Acts 2:41)

Baptism is the outward sign and testimony before others of what happened in your heart.

• Tell others. (Luke 12:8-9 with Mark 5:19)

Tell others what Jesus has done for you. Don't be ashamed to confess Him as your God and Savior. :)

The Christian life is a battlefield, not always a bed of roses. To be born is only the beginning. As a Christian you will face many difficulties and temptations. Don't despair! The Lord has promised that we can have the victory over these things because of the shed blood of Jesus. The Christian life is worth the difficulties.
